Okavango Delta
The legendary Okavango is a vast inland Delta of 15,000 sq kilometres. Fed from the highlands of Angola, almost all of the billions of tons of water that reaches the Delta vanish into the sand.
The myriad of waterways are dominated by Papyrus and Reed lined channels inhabited by Hippos and Crocodiles.
The dry land areas of Moremi are home to a mulitude of African mammals. Large herds of Buffalo, Zebra and smaller antelopes are ghosted by Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs and Wild Dogs. The Delta is a magical and timeless place. Few who have been on Safari here have been unmoved by its beauty. A last untarnished Eden of Africa.
