Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park is usually visited in two parts; firstly at the vast wilderness of Savute and the Savute Marsh.

This beautiful landscape scattered with small rock koppies (hills) is famed for its predators such as Lions, wild dog and leopard. Two years ago the Savute Marsh filled with water from the Savute channel for the first time in 30 years. This has attracted huge herds of elephants and buffalo as well as countless water birds that were previously absent from the area.

The Chobe Riverfront is world famous for its huge concentrations of game all year round. It is home to the largest concentration of elephant in the world as well as countless zebra, buffalo herds as well as over 400 species of bird.
